Julia, 100% North American, but of Norwegian descent, was born im the beautiful state of California. At age 5, Julia received her first pony for her birthday and at age 8 she began participating in equestrian competitions.
Julia won many prizes and was invited to join a prestigious acrobatic, trick riding and roping school called Riata Ranch. she spent her adolescent years as part of their international riding team.
In her spare time, along with some of her friends, formed a small music group for fun and sang country songs. Her family and friends recognized her singing talents and encouraged her to sing professionally, but, there was something else for Julia first.
Singing superstar Antonio Aguilar saw the riding group perform one day and was so impressed that he invited them to participate in his musical rodeo show. They toured with him as trick riders and trick ropers throughout the U.S. and Mexico and became known as "Las Gueritas de California" (The Blondies from California).
Julai loved Mexico and felt very well accepted by the Latin public. She became a member of the Aguilar family enjoying their food, music, costumes and traditions. Seniora Flor Silvestre, Antonio Aguilar's wife, made a great impact on Julia with her passionate singing performances and her love for the Mexican public.
After finishing her fifth and final tour of Mexico, Julia returned to her native California where she was reunited with her language, costumes and people.
Julia now thanks the Mexican public and the Aguilar family for inspiring her to begin a professional singing career in the Mexican market. Julia just recently released her first CD and is becoming known as "La Gringuita Mas Mexicana" (The White Girl Most Mexican).
At age twenty-five, JULIA incorporated her many talents into a variety show. In this show she sings and dances to music by top country artists, traditional mariachi songs, romantic ballads and the latest Tejano hits. She also includes her specialty trick roping and a touch of magic.
JULIA has performed this show for thousands over the past three years in fairs, festivals, rodeos and has been featured many times on television and radio.
